Stay Hopeful: A Brush Font for Creative Branding Projects

Stay Hopeful for Logo Design and Brand Identity Work

I was working on a branding project for a boutique skincare line, and I needed a font that felt both modern and warm. That’s when I first tested Stay Hopeful, a brand new brush font that immediately stood out for its soft, expressive strokes. It has a hand-drawn feel but with enough consistency to be usable in professional contexts. As a display font, it worked beautifully as the main typeface for the logo concept—giving the brand an approachable yet artistic vibe.

Stay Hopeful is perfectly suited for logos, and in this case, it helped create a sense of calm and authenticity that aligned with the brand's mission. I paired it with a clean sans serif font for body text, which gave the overall identity a balanced look without losing the personality of the brush font.

Stay Hopeful for Packaging Mockups and Print Designs

When I moved to the packaging mockup stage, I wanted something that would stand out on the shelf but still maintain a level of professionalism. Stay Hopeful came into play again, this time on the product labels and outer box design. Its gentle curves and natural variation made it ideal for creating a tactile, artisanal feel that resonated well with the target audience.

On print designs, Stay Hopeful performed exceptionally well. Whether it was on a small label or a larger poster, the font maintained clarity and visual interest. I found that using it as an accent font on packaging elements like quotes or taglines added a nice touch of character without overwhelming the design.

Stay Hopeful for Website Headers and Social Media Graphics

One of the most impressive aspects of Stay Hopeful was how it translated to digital formats. On the website header, it brought a sense of movement and warmth that complemented the brand’s overall tone. The font looked great at larger sizes, especially when used in conjunction with high-quality imagery.

For social media graphics, I used Stay Hopeful in Instagram posts and promotional banners. Its expressive style worked particularly well for short phrases and calls to action. I noticed that it caught attention quickly, which is essential for engaging audiences on platforms where content scrolls by fast.

However, I did find that Stay Hopeful wasn’t ideal for long paragraphs of body text. It’s best used as a display font or headline font. When I tried using it in smaller sizes for longer text, readability suffered slightly. So if you're considering using it in web design or editorial work, keep it to headlines and short bursts of text.

Stay Hopeful for Flyers, Posters, and Music Covers

In another part of the project, I experimented with Stay Hopeful on promotional flyers and posters. It added a unique flair that made the materials feel more personal and creative. For a local music festival, we used it on the event poster, and it gave the design a friendly, inviting atmosphere.

The font also worked well on music covers, where it helped convey the artist’s mood and style. Its versatility across different mediums—from print to digital—makes it a solid choice for anyone looking for a font that can adapt to various branding needs.

If you’re working on a project that requires a bit of personality without sacrificing professionalism, Stay Hopeful is definitely worth testing. Just remember to check the commercial font licensing before using it in client work, brand identity, templates, merchandise, websites, or print-on-demand products.
